This blog is the Improv for life guide. In it I will share games, skills and some of my insights from the world of Improv, and how to Implement them in life in order to make it easier and more fun.
The world of Improv has changed my life.
In the past, it wasn’t so obvious that this is where I belong (more about that in chapter 1), but today it’s crystal clear to me that in Improv I am my truest self and that without Improv, my life would have looked completely different. Not only because it’s what I do for a living, but mostly because I’ve integrated Improv skills into my life. Improv is a very wise form of art, one that requires complete focus on the one hand, and a total lack of thought on the other, it’s an art form that makes you trust yourself, say “yes” far more than “no”, forces you to be present in the here and now – and to have fun! It teaches you to face both success and failure and teaches you to instantly bounce back from failure. There are countless more skills this amazing art form teaches and maintains.
